The event is a fundraiser for the Leopold Parent/Faculty Organization (PFO). Our purpose is to ensure that parents and school faculty work together in support of the children of Leopold Elementary.
The 1 mile event is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 boys and girls in each grade level pre-kindergarten through "6th+" grade. Athletes will be sent out in waves, in one minute intervals, "6th+" graders first, then 5th, etc.
The course is a one-mile loop around the Leopold Elementary school grounds. The starting line and finish line are near the entrance to the cafeteria. Click here to view the 1 Mile Course.
Post-race cool-down session will be provided.
The 5km Community Fun Run is also open to anyone who wishes to participate. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners. The 5k run will have a mass start (1 wave).
The course shares the same schoolground loop around Leopold Elementary as the 1 mile event, and continues with a loop through the Arbor Hills neighborhood. Same starting and finish line as the 1 mile run. Click here to view the 5k Course.
The awards ceremony will commence once the last 1mi participant has crossed the finish line.
You may register online, or fill out a registration form (Leopold students use this form) and drop it in the mail by Sat, Sep 25th to ensure it arrives prior to the event. If you can't make the deadline, bring it with you on raceday (but be prepared to wait in line).
Course Records may be viewed here.

The flavor of the event has been captured with a few well snapped photos.
Hosting an event like this takes a lot of planning and help from kind & generous volunteers. If you are kind and generous, and don't plan on running or walking the Trample, please consider volunteering. We'd appreciate the help! Download and fill out a volunteer form today.
